2.3 Exclusions / Limitations
2.3.1 Beyond the Warranty Period: The product or component involved in the claim has exceeded its applicable warranty period.
2.3.2 Normal Wear and Tear and Cosmetic Changes: This includes reasonable wear, fading, scratches, stains or slight deformation of collar straps, fasteners, cable jackets, labels, housings, etc., caused by long-term wearing, friction, dirt, sunlight, temperature and humidity, and cleaning. Such conditions are normal signs of use and are not covered by the free warranty.
2.3.3 Damage and Loss Caused by Animal Behavior or External Force: This includes animal biting damage, pulling, trampling, collision, squeezing against each other, the collar being caught on fences, feeding facilities or other objects, and losses caused by the product falling off, being lost or being moved by a third party.
2.3.4 Improper Installation, Wearing, Use or Maintenance, including but not limited to:
- Failure to complete activation, binding, assembly, wearing, disassembly, storage or cleaning in accordance with the product manual or written instructions;
- Incorrect collar orientation, tightness, component sequence or fastening method, or use of mismatched collar straps, buckles, counterweights and other components;
- The installation location, antenna orientation, installation height, waterproofing, lightning protection, ventilation, power supply, grounding or wiring of the LoRa Gateway fails to meet requirements;
- Directly rinsing electronic components with a high-pressure water gun, soaking components that are not permitted to be soaked, or using corrosive cleaners, sharp tools or improper methods to clean the product;
- Failure to inspect tightness, fasteners, cables, antennas, power supply and Gateway online status as required, resulting in aggravation of damage.
2.3.5 Power Supply, Network and Coverage Environment: Offline status, delay, missing data or inability to provide remote support caused by power outages, abnormal voltage or frequency, lightning strikes, router or switch failures, firewall restrictions, insufficient bandwidth, cellular or internet operator interruptions, insufficient Gateway layout, obstruction by obstacles, or cattle exceeding the effective coverage range are not covered by the free warranty.
2.3.6 Data, Algorithm Results and Business Decisions. Information such as activity, rumination, estrus and health provided by the cattle collar system is auxiliary management information and does not completely replace veterinary diagnosis or manual observation. Losses caused by individual animal differences, baseline data errors, improper wearing, data synchronization delays, third-party system integration, or business, breeding or treatment decisions made by users based on system information are not covered by the free warranty.
2.3.7 Unauthorized Disassembly, Repair, Modification or Third-Party Accessories: Failures caused by the product being opened, dismantled, repaired or modified by unauthorized personnel, damage to the seal or protective structure, or the use of unapproved antennas, power supplies, cables, fasteners, software and interfaces are not covered by the free warranty.
2.3.8 Force Majeure and Environments Beyond Design Conditions. This includes fire, flood, lightning strike, earthquake, typhoon, extreme temperatures, highly corrosive environments, abnormal chemical exposure, insect damage, malicious damage and other external factors beyond reasonable control.
2.3.9 Product Identity or Evidence Cannot Be Verified: If the product serial number, device ID, label or tamper-evident mark is removed, damaged or altered, the product does not match purchase or outbound records, or the claimant refuses to provide reasonable diagnostic materials, making it impossible to confirm the product identity, the facts of the fault or the warranty status.
2.3.10 Returned Items Not Meeting Requirements. If items are returned without Sveaverken's authorization, or the returned items are incomplete, cannot be tested, have not been cleaned and disinfected, retain manure or other organic matter, are improperly packaged or labeled causing secondary damage, or are not sent within the specified time and by the designated method, Sveaverken has the right to refuse acceptance or return them.
